Root canal Treatment

Root canal therapy (RCT) is a dental procedure used to treat infected or damaged tooth pulp.

The tooth pulp is the innermost layer of the tooth and it can be damaged due to extensive decay or trauma.

Treating the pulp for RCT preserves the remaining tooth structure and prevents it from further damage or extraction.

Following X-ray and diagnosis, the tooth is numbed with local anesthesia

Drilling of tooth to clean the decay and the infected pulp

Disinfection ,filling and sealing of the pulp canals.

To restore function, tooth is filled with a filling and may require a crown.
